All is not well with veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva, who is the wife of Olu Jacobs, another veteran actor.

The reason for this is not far-fetched as she lost her mother, Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva, to the cold hands of death.

The deceased was aged 89 and died in the early hours of Sunday, July 19, 2015.

Late Dr Silva was the third female doctor in Nigeria and was honour in 1979 as an Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).

Her family members are yet to announce the burial plans. She is survived by her children and grandchildren.
