Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan may have not won a legislative seat in Oyo State under the Peoples Democratic Party, but the actress is in no way sad over her poor outing.

She recently told Punch that after her poor election outing, she had to throw a party to celebrate her attempt.

Funke stated that she had to invite her friends and fans to come merry with her as it was a way of finding more happiness around those who supported her all along as she will not allow anything to disturb her acting career.

“I threw a party immediately after the election. Didn't you hear about it? Ah! I don't feel bad at all. I threw a big bash where I invited my fans and friends to come and celebrate with me. There was no need for me to feel bad in any way,” she said.
