Octogenarian Woman Caught With 68 Live Cartridges
An 80 year old woman, Comfort Izedomwen has been arrested by the Edo state Police Command over alleged possession of 68 live cartridges alongside her accomplice, Stella Omobude, 48 for being in possession with 32 live cartridges.
The duos were now being paraded at the State Command Headquarters in the state.
According to Izedomwen, “I started selling ammunition six month ago, after I incurred injury on my legs. I sold a cartridge for N250 to hunters and private security operatives.”
Omobude said Madam Izedomwen introduced her to the business. Police Commissioner Chris Ezike said the suspects would soon be arraigned.
