I Was Born to Fight for my Right and I hate Corruption…Rotimi Amaechi

Embattled former Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi, some minutes ago arrived the National Assembly for his ministerial screening today October 22nd, 2015, all looking ready and smiling as he walked down the chamber.

While ready for his questions, the Peoples Democratic party minority leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, on behalf of the other minority senators voted not to ask him any questions since he is still under probe on alleged corruption charges.

While the session became a rowdy one with various arguments, a question from the All Progressive Party senator, was put up on why he continues to face challenges in his political career since stepping in some years back.

Amaechi responded that, “I was born to test my right and fight for my right. I was once a student union leader and trust me I hate corruption.”

Furthermore, since being grounded in political matters, he was asked to share some advice aspiring politicians who might want to see politics as must join race.

Amaechi replied thus, “I can't advise because most politicians will like to survive, so I can't advise aspiring politicians.”
