BUT for the cold hands of death which stealthily plucked him away, late highlight great, Chief Sunday Akanite, popularly known as Oliver de Coque had planned to give his late mother, who died few months before death his demise, the mother-of-all burial ceremonies.

Citytracker scoop revealed that Oliver's mum had spent months in a morgue in her Ezinifite hometown, awaiting final preparations for burial, before death took the versatile highlife music crooner who was her sole benefactor..
While some attributed the delay in conducting the burial to the fact that Oliver was broke before his death, hence he decided to source for funds. Others disagreed, maintaining that the late star, besides being a musician had other business interests that thrived.

Therefore the question of being broke would not have arisen.
