I Fully Support Bareness In Nollywood—Benson Okonkwo

Nollywood actor, Benson Okonkwo, has aired his opinion on the roles of ungodly scenes in Nollywood, which he describes as the best for the development of the sector.

Benson who disclosed this in an interview with Vanguard newspaper, explained that the Hollywood movies are making progress because nothing is new or a big deal to them; but in this part of the world, everything is an issue.

"We watch movies like that in Hollywood. Nigerians are hypocrites. I think the unclad scenes make our movies more real.

"And for that reason, I am in support of it. If you take a good look at Hollywood movies, for example, you will notice that it is rampant and it means nothing to them. Unclad scenes are good for Nollywood," the actor said.

The actor stressed that movies are make-believe and as such, it is being acted according to scripts and there are restrictions in those roles. So, Nigerian movies are not made for everyone, he added.
