The father of oil and & gas billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, Sir Michael Otedola, has died. His death is coming barely 24 hours after popular Nigerian musician, Charly Boy lost his dad, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa, to the cold hands of death in Abuja.

Sir Michael Otedola, who died today, was a former Governor of Lagos State. He ruled Lagos from January 1992 to November 18, 1993, when the military took over the government through a coup.

The deceased was born July 16, 1926 into in Odoragunsin in Epe Local Government Area of Lagos State. He was aged 87.
