Shocking many Africans who have been following the season eight of the Big Brother Africa (BBA) game show tagged The Chase, Dillish was announced by the organisers of the show as winner of the competition held on Sunday evening in South Africa.

Dillish's announcement came as a surprise because she wasn't in strong contention for the $300,000 prize of the show. One of Nigeria's representatives at the competition, Melvin and Beverly were tipped to either emerge winner of the reality TV show.

Cleo was announced the first runner-up of the show.
