I cried like a baby! The inmates wanted us to act for them---Hakeem Rahman
When I became vice president with Ejike Asiegbu as the president of AGN, I challenged the wrong doings of our government, that at led to Ejike's suspension by the board of trustees.
Then I became the interim president for seven months. It was very challenging. Those who feared Ejike and love his balderdash stood against my government.
Ejike was empowered to take us to Alagbon, court and Ikoyi prison with the board of trustees. In my 20 years as a banker, I was never taken to Ikoyi prison. I cried like a baby! Once I was asked to cut the grass along with my colleagues.
The inmates wanted us to act for them but Emma Ogugua encouraged me not to give up. Emma was strong hearted.
