The Senior Special Adviser on Media to the Enugu State governor, Sullivan Chime, Afam Okereke, has lashed out at the Save Enugu Group, which was at the forefront of attacking the governor of the state while he was away for few months.

Okerekere described the group as 'few faceless and frustrated politicians' who were bent on creating unnecessary tension to destabilize the good leadership of Chime's administration in Enugu State.

In a statement signed by him, Okereke thanked God for bringing the governor back home safely. The statement reads;

THE EAGLE HAS FINALLY LANDED

As the greatest revolutionary of our time, His Excellency, Governor Sullivan Chime returns home. It is now clear to the good people of Enugu state, our beloved country Nigeria and the world at large that the SAVE ENUGU GROUP, an organization of few faceless and frustrated politicians were simply out with the aim to create unnecessary tension to destabilize the good leadership of Chime's administration in Enugu State.

With great joy and thanks to the almighty God, I sincerely welcome back home the peoples' Governor, a wonderful leader and a great revolutionary,.. Mr Sullivan I.. Chime. Nnooo Onye Isi.
