Nigeria Police has revealed that the disgraced Capital Oil Boss, Ifeanyi Uba to be Prosecuted For Felony, Money Laundering, Stealing & Economic Sabotage

The Managing Director of Capital Oil and Gas Limited, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Uba and some top officials of his company are to be charged to court any moment from now, the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigerian Police has said.

Uba and top officials of his company are being investigated in connection with alleged fraudulent oil subsidy claim to the tune of N43.291 billion.

Police Commissioner in charge of the SFU, Ayotunde Ogunsakin confirmed the on-going investigation, and explained that the suspects would be charged to court once prema-facie case has been established.

Ogunsakin, who signed a report of police investigation into the alleged crime, stated that the SFU had intensified efforts to unravel all criminal infractions in the transactions.

According to him, “at the conclusion of these ongoing actions, a consolidated investigation report will be submitted on prema facie case of conspiracy to commit felony, money laundering, forgery, stealing, obtaining by false pretences and economic sabotage against Capital Oil and Gas Limited, Ifeanyi Patrick Uba and those found to have conspired, colluded or aided the culprits.”
