As part of the activities lined up for the fun loving people of Lagos State this yuletide season, a high profile event tagged: Eko Nite Fun Splash, has been fixed for Friday, December 26, (Boxing Day).

The high-octane groove scheduled to hold at the prestigious Martinos, behind the popular M.K.O Abiola Gardens, Ikeja, is expected to attract dignitaries from both the private and public sectors.

According to Mr. Olutimehin Olusegun Samson, the honcho of Jim Timmy Productions, organizers of the event, which is already being hailed by many, it became necessary to hold a show like Eko Nite Fun Splash, because after working from the beginning of the year to the last days of the year, it is imperative that Lagosians have a forum where they would come together and look back at the successes or otherwise of the past months, and plot on how to face the future, in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Already, K1, De Ultimate, has been contracted to headline the show. He would be supported by other younger music acts. It won't be an all night of music and fun, as the immediate past governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife Oluremi, would be honoured as Grand Patron of Eko Nite Fun Splash, while the current governor Babatunde Fashola and wife, Abimbola, would also receive similar honours too. Also, other illustrious sons and daughters of Lagos as well as few outstanding non-Lagosians would be given special recognition awards at the forthcoming evening of fun and relaxation.
