There have been rumour going rounds that popular lewd artiste, Abass Obesere otherwise known as 'Omo Rapala' was dead. The news, which spread like wild fire this morning, has now been reacted to by sources close to the Fuji music artiste.

We gathered from multiple sources that Abass is in Malaysia where he is currently on tour. We also learnt that Obesere performed yesterday night at a club owned by a Nigerian living in Malaysia.

We hear that his representatives have denied the death rumour about Obesere. In April 2012, Abass was reportedly involved in an auto accident which he survived.

Some weeks ago, Obesere and his mum did the recently concluded Supermom Celebrity edition which was won by Cobhams Asuquo's mum.

Obesere is one of the top Fuji artistes in Nigeria. He was recently reported to have built a mega hotel in Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State.
