POPULAR STAR INI EDO BAN LIFTED
Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, popular actor Ejike Asiegbu, president of the actors body has announce the lifting of the about three months ban on actress Ini Edo. Edo was cut to size when reports of her acts of indiscipline and unprofessional conducts on sets of various producers became too much for the executive to bear.
"The ex-communication order clamped on Miss Iniobong Edo on the 17th of April, 2007 has been lifted with effect from the 1st of August, 2007. The decision of the National Executive Council in this regard was informed by the expression of deep regrets by the artiste in question, over the circumstances that led to her ex-communication, her having to show genuine remorse underscored by a letter of apology written and tendered by her. Furthermore, the ex-communication order was purely corrective and not punitive," Asiegbu began at the well-attended media briefing.
