I Don't Want To Go Back To My 30s – Toke Makinwa
Popular media personality and actress Toke Makinwa has opened up about her 30s, describing them as the worst years of her life.
Speaking on her podcast with BBNaija's Tacha, she said she has no desire to relive that decade.
Makinwa also advised women against marrying in their 20s, arguing that they don't know themselves well enough at that age. She noted that many who married early now regret their decision.
Reflecting on her own experience, she said she spent her 20s with one man and wished she had explored more.
She said:
"I don't want to go back to my 30s; they were the worst years of my life. I spent my 20s with just one man, but I wish I had explored more because he gave me the experiences. I wasn't innocent, and I'm glad I didn't have a baby in my 30s."
"Women have no business getting married in their 20s. You don't even know yourself yet. Those who did are regretting it now."
