Former Big Brother Naija star star Hazel Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, has cautioned against expecting a conventional relationship when dating or marrying a celebrity.

Speaking in an Instagram video, he explained that public figures are constantly under scrutiny, which makes it nearly impossible to enjoy a private, ordinary lifestyle.

Whitemoney advised that anyone considering a relationship with a celebrity must be mentally prepared for the challenges that come with fame. He noted that celebrities have a strong social media presence, and their partners cannot afford to think or react like ordinary people.

He stressed the importance of being fully prepared before entering such a relationship.

He said:
"So if you ever get to a point in your life as an individual, whether you're a man or you're a woman, and you be like, 'Hmm, I would love to date a celebrity, I want to marry a celebrity or I want to have a thing to do with a celebrity,' know this and know peace, you cannot be normal. Celebrities are not created for normal people."

"See, when you are dating an influential person, or you're getting married to an influential person, whether it's in movies, music or whatever sphere, this person commands social media presence. You cannot be thinking like a regular person. Your thoughts and your emotions can't be that of a regular person."

"You go ready, you go prepare if you ever want to date a celebrity, whether it's a male or a female. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. Bye."
