Bimbo Ademoye Pleads For Kindness To Filmmakers, Promises New Movie
Nollywood actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye has appealed to fans to be more respectful and understanding toward filmmakers, highlighting the effort and hard work behind every production.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, she expressed gratitude to her "cyber family" for their unwavering love and support over the years.
Bimbo acknowledged that while she may not be able to reply to every message or comment, she sees the encouragement and it has kept her going through difficult times. She urged fans to review films with kindness, noting that criticism can be expressed without being mean.
She also reminded them that underneath the smiles and beautiful posts, filmmakers often cry in silence.
The actress also announced that her newest movie is on the way, promising it will be worth the wait.
She said:
"Dear cyber family! Thank you! For your love, your support, your patience. I may not be able to respond to all of you, but know that in those dark times, your messages kept me going. I do not take your love or support for granted."
"Please be kind to filmmakers today; we really do go through a lot. Underneath the smiles, the posts, the beautiful captions, sometimes we cry in silence, because unless you wear the shoes, you really won't understand."
"Review with kindness, be better with your words. Nobody is saying you shouldn't critique a film, but at least you can let your displeasure be known without being mean, all in the name of bluntness."
