Relocating Abroad Is for Young People In Their 20s, Not 50s – Speed Darlington
Controversial Nigerian singer Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has advised Nigerians in their 50s against relocating abroad.
In a video that surfaced online, he questioned their purpose for moving, asking if they intended to hustle at such an age.
Speed Darlington argued that relocating abroad is mainly for young people in their 20s, as they have enough time to reap the rewards of their efforts. He suggested that those in their 50s would not have the same opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labour before it becomes too late.
He said:
"Nigerians in their 50s have no business saying they're relocating abroad. What are you going there to do? By the time you start seeing the rewards of your hustle, it is too late. Relocating abroad is mostly for young people in their 20s."
