'A Queen Was Born' Is Giving Stingy – Wumi Toriola Expreses Disdain Over Popular Birthday Greeting
Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has playfully called out the popular birthday greeting "A queen was born," describing it as a trigger for stingy gift-givers.
In a recent Instagram post, she advised fans not to feel pressured to give her gifts on her birthday, stating that love is enough.
The actress, however, took a swipe at those who start their birthday wishes with the phrase "A queen was born," joking that it is often a sign of stinginess. She suggested that a simple "Happy Birthday" is far better than that overused phrase.
She wrote:
"No be by force to give me gifts on my birthday.
