Singer Ycee Opens Up On Reason Behind Music Break
Nigerian singer Oludemilade Martin Alejo, popularly known as YCee, has opened up on his decision to take a break from the Nigerian music scene.
Speaking in a recent livestream with streamer Carter Efe, the 'Jagaban' crooner attributed his hiatus to going on a journey of self reflection and personal development.
According to him, the journey was crucial at that point in time, however, he is now back.
Ycee further opened up on the idea behind his moniker “Omo Alhaji," explaining that his dad is a Muslim, however, he doesn't practice the religion.
He said:
"I have been on the mountain. I went on a journey of self-discovery. But I am back."
