Why I'm Still Single At 30 – Mummy Wa Blames Fictional Characters
Nigerian content creator and skitmaker Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa, has opened up about why she is still single at 30. The comedian revealed that she has not fallen in love with a "real man" yet, admitting that she keeps falling for fictional characters from movies.
Speaking in a video broadcast, Mummy Wa disclosed that she is waiting for Lee Min Ho, the South Korean actor from the popular series "Boys Over Flowers." She questioned what would happen if she met him in real life and he turned out to be different from the character she fell in love with.
The skitmaker also noted that she is not alone in this struggle, as many women fall for fictional characters. She stated that this habit is the real reason she remains single, as she keeps comparing real men to the unrealistic standards set by movie characters.
She said:
"The reason why I am still single is because I went to go and fall in love with a fictional character. And it is not only me, a lot of women fall for fictional characters. But where are we going to see him?
"I am almost 30, and I am still waiting for Lee Min Ho. What if I meet Le Min Ho in real life and he is not the same as the person in 'Boys Over Flowers'?
"Honestly, I am still single because it is only fictional characters I keep falling for."
