The Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood is currently in grief following the death of a veteran actor, Kola Oyewo.

The sad news was made public by Yoruba actor Kunle Afod in a recent Instagram post.

Sharing a photo of himself with the late actor, Kunle Afod announced his passing, describing him as an embodiment of remarkable talent, timeless performances, in addition to contributing greatly to the Nigerian theatre and film industry.

Penning a tribute to Kola Oyewo, Afod maintained that his legacy will keep standing strong.

He wrote:

Kola Oyewo has taken his final bow.
His remarkable talent, timeless performances, and immense contributions to the Nigerian theatre and film industry will never be forgotten. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
