Songwriter and Grammy-Award winner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu professionally known as Burnaboy has just said what the people want. He also reacted exactly the way Nigerian youths have been expecting him to do concerning the ongoing election in the country.

The singer took to his social media to react after being seriously dragged online for not participating in the elections.

Recall that on the 25th of February 2023, Nigeria conducted its periodic election across the country for presidential, Senatorial and other political offices.

It should be noted that in the light of the electoral process, some people tried manipulating the process which led to violence and snatching of ballot boxes in some locale or polling unit.

Significantly, many Nigerian celebrities have been reacting aggressively to the perceived unfairness displayed in the conduct of the electoral Processes. Basically, celebrities like Mr Macaroni and Falz the bad Guy, have been heard lending their voices against any form of manipulation.

However, top Nigerian singers, Davido, Wizkid and Burnaboy have been massively dragged by netizens for not using their huge influence to tell people to vote wisely this time as they noted the trio do not have interest of Nigeria and Nigerians in their hearts.

Reacting to this, Burnaboy via the insta-stories section of his verified Instagram page urged INEC not to try and do magic/rig when it comes to votes made by Nigerians for their preferred candidates as he noted that they need to let Nigerians decide.

Burnaboy tweeted, “Let Nigeria decide oh! @inecnigeria, no try any result magic.”
