"This Cannot Be The New Normal" – KieKie Lends Her Voice To Recent Oyo Abductions
Nigerian content creator and actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as KieKie, has weighed in on the rate of insecurity and killings in Nigeria, expressing sadness over the recent happenings in Oyo State.
Recall that social media has been on fire following the news of the abductions of some students, parents and teacher in Oyo state.
The tragic incident was further compounded by the gruesome slaughter of a Mathematics teacher in Oyo State, identified as Michael Oyedokun.
Lending her voice to the joint calls of the public and celebrities, KieKie expressed sadness over the abduction of students and teachers in Oyo State.
According to her, it is impossible to move on following the recent event, stressing that such occurrences should not become part of the society. She further expressed solidarity with the parents of the abducted students.
She captioned the emotional video with:
"We can't just move on like nothing happened!! Those children and their teachers are still there!!! THIS CANNOT BE THE NEW NORMAL!!
No parent should have to go through this!!"
