Nigerian singer and songwriter, Paul Okoye, popularly known as RudeBoy, has debunked the viral claims that the lady who labelled him a rapist and abuser of minors, has received a six year imprisonment sentence.

Recall that social media was set ablaze last year when a lady on X, had accused the singer of infidelity in his marriage to his ex-wife, Anita Okoye, with his housemaid.

Commenting on the accusations, he threatened legal action over defamatory statements, vowing to make her a scapegoat.

However, a recent news began making the rounds that the lady had been sentenced to six years in prison, much to the delight of netizens.

Clearing the air, RudeBoy on his verified Instagram page labelled the news as "fake."

He wrote:
