Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold, has sent a marital advice to men, emphasizing the qualities that they should look out for in their partner.

Speaking on the set of a movie, the movie star admonished men to prioritize being financially buoyant than their partner in order to gain respect.

She stressed that the disadvantage of marrying a poor partner is constant disrespect, while she maintained that she will only settle for a richer partner.

She wrote:
"As a man, if you want to earn respect from a woman, marry someone you’re richer than. If you marry a woman wey get money pass you, my brother, you’re on your own. She will never respect you. As for me, I will marry a man who is far richer than me."
