Eniola Badmus Remembers Late Mother On Valentine's Day
Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, is celebrating February 14 in a different way.
The Special Assistant for Social Events and Public Hearings to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Tajudeen Abass, took to her Instagram page today to remember her parents, years since their death.
She noted that every February is a day of reminiscing about her late mother, while the whole world celebrates love. She stated that she can't go a day without thinking about her late mother, and the thought of it makes her long for her further.
In the spirit of honouring the deceased, Badmus appreciated her for living a life of sacrifice, and instilling good values in her children before her demise.
She also urged her to keep resting, declaring her as her forever Valentine.
She wrote:
"Every February 14th will always mean more to me than the world understands. While many celebrate love today, I remember you, my precious mother....my first love, my greatest gift, my forever angel.
Mummy, not a single day goes by without me missing you, but this day... this day aches in a way words can hardly explain. I miss your voice. I miss your warmth. I miss the way you prayed for me, believed in me, and loved me without conditions. Your love was pure, steady, and protective......the kind that can never be replaced.
Heaven gained an angel, but my heart lost its home. Still, I carry you with me in everything I do. In my strength, I see you. In my resilience, I feel you. In my kindness and my laughter, I know you are alive within me. You raised me with love, and that love continues to guide my steps even in your absence.
Today, we remember you with tears, but also with gratitude. Thank you for the sacrifices you made, for the lessons you taught, and for the foundation you built for us. We truly, deeply miss you.....more than words could ever say.
Keep resting peacefully, my queen. Keep watching over us. Your love will forever be my Valentine."
