Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele, has expressed excitement over her colleague, Iyabo Ojo's astonishing record in the box office, with her release of 'The Return of Arinzo'.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that Iyabo Ojo's cinema release 'The Return of Arinzo' which began strongly in the cinema, as it has set a stunning record. In a recent revelation by Iyabo Ojo, the movie has garnered N104.8m, in addition to becoming the highest grossing Easter weekend performance, and the biggest opening for a Nollywood performance.

Expressing gratitude, the movie star appreciated everyone for the love, dedicating the unprecedented success to her fans.

Sharing a poster of the official record on her Instagram page, Akindele congratulated Iyabo Ojo, describing the milestone as well-deserved, and a strong proof of excellence.

She further disclosed her optimism on the movie breaking further records, and achieving more greatness, while urging her fans to go and see it in the cinemas.

She wrote:
