My Relationship With Netflix Is Still Intact - Lateef Adedimeji
Popular Nigerian actor and filmmaker, Lateef Adedimeji, has announced that the part 2 of his hit movie 'Lisabi' is going to be on Netflix in January 2025.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that reports broke out some days ago that the streaming platform has exited Nigeria over Nigeria's economy and other regulatory issues.
However, the streaming platform debunked the news, but did not state how they would keep supporting Nigeria movies.
Following the news of Netflix allegedly leaving Nigeria, many fans of Lateef Adedimeji have been questioning whether the 'Lisabi' part 2 would still be released on the streaming platform.
Responding to fans concerns, Lateef Adedimeji revealed that he is pleased to announce to his fans that his relationship with Netflix is intact and the second part of his movie 'Lisabi' will hit Netflix in January 2025 as promised.
Lateef Adedimeji wrote on X:
"The internet got a not so good news about our principal partners NETFLIX yesterday and a lot of people have expressed concerns about LISABI – A LEGEND IS BORN
“We’re pleased to announce to you that our relationship with the streaming platform is intact and the second part of our blockbuster movie, Lisabi will hit Netflix in January as promised.
“Anticipate magic, Trailer and Poster dropping soon.”
