‎Popular Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has penned an appreciation message to the Nigerian Police force, while affirming her unwavering respect.

‎The controversial movie star, who recently went under fire after a video of her jogging, with armed officers escorting her circulated on social media, which led to the Nigerian Police Force condemning the actions of its officers, and launching an investigation.

‎Taking to her Instagram page, the actress wished Nigerians, and the police force a happy new month. She stated that she is using the opportunity to reassure the Nigerian Police force and the general public of her unwavering respect for the police force.

‎According to her, when she was shot and attacked on December 12, 2019, the Nigerian Police Force rescued her, and went ahead to launch a professional investigation into the matter, noting that since that day, the love and support she has received from the NPF have been truly overwhelming and unforgettable.

‎She appreciated the NPF for inviting her last week, while promising to keep promoting the image and integrity of the NPF.
