‎"With President Tinubu, I Don't Think Nigeria Is In Trouble" - Daddy Freeze

By Oluwarantimi Oludase

Controversial media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has declared his support for President Tinubu's government.

He claimed that he doesn't think Nigeria is in trouble presently, although, he noted that he was scared initially, but he is beginning to see the work the president is doing in the power sector.

Furthermore, he described Nigeria as a big overloaded tipper with a bad engine, which would pose a challenge for any leader to handle. He also stated that the country is plagued with so many issues that is beyond the control of any government, and as such, it is impossible for any administration to just fix it easily.

Daddy Freeze made this claim during a recent interview with Nigeria Info FM, Lagos. He said:

“With President Bola Tinubu, I don’t think Nigeria is in trouble. I was scared initially but I’m seeing the work he is doing in the power sector.

“Nigeria is a big overloaded tipper with a bad engine. So, anybody or mechanic you bring will struggle. The leadership is that mechanic.

“Nigeria has so many problems. Sometimes, us expecting a particular government to be able to just come and fix it, is a bit ambitious.

“I was worried initially but with the way this regime has handled things up until now, I am leaning towards the fact that we finally have hope in this country.”
