Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has opened up on her recent state of mind, following the death of her mother.

The Nigerian Voice had reported a day ago that the actress is set to return to promoting her upcoming cinema movie 'EFUNROYE- The Unicorn,' following the successful burial of her mother.

Making a new post on her Instagram page, Williams revealed that her heart is still heavy from bidding farewell to her mother.

She explained that on some days, the weight overpowers her, leaving her tired and unable to do anything. She noted that despite the daily struggle –something keeps pushing her to keep going and creating.

She added that her movie 'Efunroye-The Unicorn is set to hit cinemas nationwide on May 1st.

She wrote:
"Seated here, heart still heavy from saying goodbye to Mum.

Some days the weight keeps me still, no words, no energy. But something inside whispers: keep going, create anyway, share anyway,

Because stopping would mean the light mum gave means goes out too.

Efunroye The Unicorn starts showing in cinemas nationwide on May 1st."

Recall that Faithia Williams broke the news of her mother's death on social media, revealing that she died on February 7, the eve of her birthday celebration on Sunday. The actress expressed grief, noting how the sad news was "cruelly" kept away from her, and she is still struggling to come to terms with it.

The burial of her mother took place on Saturday, March 7, with colleagues in attendance, as they honoured the legacy of Williams' mother.
