"My Portfolio Is Enough To Make Me A Billionaire" - Beverly Osu Bemoans Underpayment In Entertainment Industry
Nollywood actress Beverly Osu, has bemoaned the rate of underpayment that has plagued her career in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The reality star, while speaking in a recent episode of Ghacha’s Chough podcast, stated that she has put in the hardwork to be able to earn a billionaire status in Nigeria and Africa.
According to Osu, her portfolio is loaded with several works that can translate her to being a billionaire in every African currency, however, that is not the case in reality.
She claimed that having worked in various sectors in the entertainment industry, she has faced underpayment, and is now fighting for better renumeration.
She said:
"I have worked so hard, my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire not just in Nigeria but in Africa.
“I am a very humble person but I know that my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire.
“So, I am fighting for better wages. I have tried different facets of the entertainment industry. From being a luxury model to video vixen to reality TV star and now actor. I have paid my dues."
