Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has opened up on his single status, attributing it to his introverted personality.

The award-winning singer made the disclosure in an interview with YouTuber, Korty EO, stating that he plans on building a family, noting how it crosses his mind everyday.

According to Asake, his introverted personality restricts him from socializing. He, however, affirmed that God's time is the best.

The 'Sungba' crooner further revealed that he shares a close bond with his mother, adding that he is waiting on God's time for marriage.

"I plan to build a family by the special grace of God. I think about it every day because I am an introverted type of person who does not go out much. I will meet my wife when God says it is time. God has already written how our lives will go."

"It is good not to rush things because we do not fully understand His ways. As we are, no one knows tomorrow."
