"I Believe In Church As A Human Being" - Rapper Vector Explains Why He Doesn't Attend Church
Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun David, professionally known as Vector, has shared his opinion on the Christian faith, and his perception about attending church.
The rapper while speaking in a recent episode of the BTC podcast, stated that he does not attend church, because he is not of the viewpoint that it is an edifice or a building.
According to him, the church is majorly in humans, noting how God is particularly interested in the heart of many. He explained that gaining the knowledge from the scripture has made him convinced beyond reasonable doubts about not attending church.
A part of his statement read:
“I don’t believe in church as an edifice or a building. I believe in church as a human being. Because even the bible points to that fact that it is your heart that God is interested in.
“Also, I read a page alleged to be from Thomas and one of the statements read, ‘Behold, if the people that lead you tell you the kingdom is in the sky, then the birds of the sky precede you. If they tell you the kingdom is in the waters, then the fishes precede you."
