Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has been left emotional following a new milestone made by her December cinema release 'Oversabi Aunty.'

The Nigerian Voice previously reported in January that 'Oversabi Aunty' had grossed N1,017,201,953B.

The unprecedented record was made public by Toyin Abraham on her Instagram page. Beyond grossing over a billion in the box-office, the movie also sees the actress emerge as the first Nollywood directorial debut to hit N1Billion, and also the fourth highest grossing Nollywood film of all time. In another record-breaking milestone, Abraham's movie has now grossed N1,101,610,012B in the box-office, solidifying its position as the second highest grossing movie of all time.

Expressing her gratitude, Toyin Abraham thanked her fans for standing by her, and steadfastly supporting her projects. She acknowledged their loyalty and encouragement, affirming that it means the world to her.

Making a vow, she emphasized her commitment to delivering "timeless, classic movies" that meet global standards. She also stated that she is aware of their opinions, and has noted them down.

The wife of Kolawole Ajeyemi Also promised to improve her bond with her fans, including sharing constant updates, and regular interactions.

She wrote:
