Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham, has penned an emotional note following her win at the Silverbird awards on Sunday.

Recall that the energetic actress was set to be honoured with a Trailblazer award at the 2024 Silverbird Man of the Year award for being fearless, dynamic and redefining Nollywood.

The actress who was eventually honoured with the award on Sunday, took to her Instagram page some minutes ago to share a video of her speech at the event, while penning a powerful message as the caption.

According to Toyin, the award is not just an award, but a reminder that hardwork, perseverance, and passion never go unnoticed. She described her presence on the stage as a testament to every dreamer who dares to push boundaries and break barriers.

Describing her journey, she admitted that it has not always been easy, but the challenges, setbacks, has strengthened, her and helped her fulfill her purpose.

Additionally, she dedicated her award to every young girl who dares to dream, every filmmaker who refuses to give up, and every believer in the power of storytelling.
