"I Almost Moved Abroad After Mo'Hits Ended" - Don Jazzy Reveals
Popular Nigerian music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, has revealed that the abrupt end of Mo'Hits in 2012, the record label he co-founded with D'banj almost made him to relocate out of Nigeria.
The MAVIN boss, while speaking in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, explained that the experience affected him, and made him seriously consider quitting music to move abroad.
He however, revealed that what kept him moving was the constant support from his friends, and that brought about MAVIN records, and now nothing can break him.
He said:
"When Mo’Hits ended, I thought that was it. I almost packed up to move abroad. But friends encouraged me to stay and start again, and Mavin Records was born. Since then, I’ve learned not to let anything break me."
