Zlatan Opens Up On Birth Of Son, Shares How It Changed Him
Nigerian rapper, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, has opened up about the impact that the birth of his son brought upon him.
The singer, who recently made an appearance on the ‘Is This A Safe Space?’ podcast, explained that his son's birth instantly made him aware that life has begun for him.
Noting how he wasn't initially prepared, he revealed that he had to begin to take up responsibilities at the age of 25, citing how he was paying house rent in London.
He noted how he had to quit some of his lifestyle because he was scared that he might not be able to fulfill his responsibility for so long.
Zlatan, however, stressed that he had to become serious with his finances, and that was a turning point for him in his fatherhood role.
He said:
"The birth of my son changed me. It made me realise that life was getting more serious. I wasn’t prepared. I started paying house rent in London at 25. I was scared I might not be able to keep up with the bills because some people were saying I might not be relevant in the music industry for more than three years.
“I became more serious with managing my finances. Limited spending and started saving for diapers."
