Sammy West, the elder brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has thrown a shade at Nigerian senator and billionaire, Ned Nwoko.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that social media erupted over a viral clip, in which Regina Daniels could be seen in the midst of men as her brother tried defending her against thugs her husband allegedly sent to her.

She further bemoaned the violence that has been meted out to her in her marriage, crying out that she is tired of it.

Not long after the viral video, Sammy West took to his Instagram story to confirm the video, sending a warning message to Ned Nwoko, stating that he was lucky that he sent thugs their way after physically assaulting his sister.

Taking to his Instagram page in the early hours of Tuesday, Sammy West stated that while in secondary school, a popular debate topic was on "A good name is better than riches."

Firing shots at Ned Nwoko, he emphasized that he is about to know the importance of a good name, adding that he doesn't worship money.

He wrote:
"When we had debates in secondary school on “A good name is better than riches" na now you go understand! I no dey worship money. RESPECT is beautiful things."
