"I Hate When Politicians Sweep Things Under The Carpet" - Comedian Seyi Law Urges Government To Acknowledge Nigerians Pain
Popular Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, better known as Seyi Law, has urged the Nigerian government to acknowledge the economic hardship plaguing Nigerians.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Entertainment and Tourism, made this known during a recent interview on the Inside The Box podcast, stating that Nigerians are hungry, and the hunger has brought about anger.
Noting how he is affected by the pain, he stressed that he dislikes when politician try to make light note of important issues.
He urged the government to acknowledge the hardship plaguing Nigerians.
He said:
"Nigerians are hungry, and hungry people are angry people. I feel the pain too. I hate when we try to switch such things under the carpet, which is what politicians do. I don’t like it.
“Let us acknowledge the people’s pain and let them know that this reform is coming with this pain, but hopefully there will be a relief at the end."
