Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has addressed crotics of her decision to introduce her daughter to clubbing at the age of 17.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Laide Bakare, in a recent viral Interview, revealed that she introduced her daughter to alcohol and clubbing at the age of 17.

Laide's revelation didn't sit down well with many netizens, and was met with immense criticisms.

Addressing her critics, the movie star, via her Instagram page, clarified that she didn't introduce her daughter to alcohol, but only club, which was intended to give her a bit of exposure.

Supporting her decision, she emphasized that she is not as bad as people think.

She wrote:
"No, pls, I didn’t do Alcohol with @simlineboss, only club, and it’s just to give her a bit of exposure towards the future . I’m not as bad as you think."
