Popular Nigerian music executive, Paulo Okoye, has slammed activist, Deji Adeyanju, for accusing Burna Boy of arresting his client and singer, Speed Darlington.

The Nigerian Voice reported that Deji Adeyanju announced via his Facebook page that "Our client Speed Darlington, a.k.a AKPI has been arrested by the Nigerian police in Owerri at his show upon return to Nigeria."

Deji Adeyanju further accused Burna Boy of using the police to oppress his client again, following his previous arrest in October, after insinuating that Burna Boy was romantically involved with embattled American rapper, Diddy.

Displeased by Deji's statement, Paulo Okoye via his Instagram page, urged him to put respect on Burna Boy. He questioned why the singer's name was mentioned. He described Deji Adeyanju as a social media lawyer and nothing more.

“ Lawyer Deji or whatever they call you, can you put respect on Burna Boy’s name? Why are you even mentioning Burna Boy’s name?

“You are nothing more than a social media lawyer! Lawyer my a** Get your facts right before you open your gutter mouth. Control your client.”
