By Oluwarantimi Oludase

‎Popular social media critic and celebrity tormentor, Daniel Regha, has given his review on Afrobeats star Rema's new song.

‎Recall that the 'Calm Down' crooner had some days ago, set social media ablaze ahead of the release of his third single of the year 'KELEBU,' which was set to drop on August 1st, by launching a $10,000 dance challenge for fans across the globe.

‎The dance challenge has seen many netizens go gaga with various antics in order to win the ultimate prize.

‎Following the release of the song today, August 1st, Daniel Regha, who is known for his honest and unfiltered review of music, movies, and any work of entertainment or art, took to the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter to review the new song.

‎According to him, the song is marketable noise, stating that it is perfect for kids' events, and not suitable for a mature audience or anyone with great taste in music.

‎Describing the song as lyrically empty, Regha criticized the use of the trumpet, stating that it doesn't go well with the beat.

‎Commending Rema, he praised the singer's eagerness to experiment with new sounds, stressing that the experiment was a miss in his new song.

‎Rating the song, he described it as a 0.5/10.

‎Regha wrote on X:
‎"Rema's "KELEBU" is marketable NOISE; The song is perfect for kids' events like birthday parties, primary school graduations, etc. But definitely NOT for a matured audience or anyone with great taste in music. Lyrically empty, and the trumpet also doesn't go well with the beats, it stands alone. Rema's eagerness to experiment with new sounds is commendable, however, this is a poor attempt at it, especially for someone aspiring to be among the top artistes. 0.5/10. No offense."
