"I See Crypto As Fraud" - Burna Boy Urges Fans To Disregard 'Meme Coin'
Afrobeats star, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has urged his fans and followers to disregard any meme coin.
Burna Boy made this declaration following the trend of a meme coin in his name on the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter.
Reacting to it on his Instagram page, the singer stressed that he does not participate in any "coin" business, adding that he sees it as a fraud.
He urged them to disregard and report anyone using his name to promote such.
He wrote:
"I don’t do any internet “coin” business. I see it as fraud and I have no interest in any of that. So if you see anyone using my name for such, pls disregard or report them.”
