Controversial Nigerian singer, Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has been declared wanted by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) over rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

‎The Nigerian Voice recalls that Speed Darlington via his Instagram page in May, revealed in Igbo language that he had sex with a young girl in an unnamed hotel, adding that the girl was left bleeding and that he paid hotel staff N2,000 to change the sheets

‎The singer's claim led to widespread outrage among the public, with many calling for relevant authorities to look into the matter.

‎Following several invitations by NAPTIP, which the singer refused to honour, the agency on Friday, declared him wanted in an Instagram post.

‎The post read:
‎“WANTED BY NAPTIP.
‎Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is wanted in connection with alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

‎
‎“Anyone with credible information on his whereabouts is urged to contact NAPTIP immediately. Call: 07030000203, [email protected].”
