Portable Labells The Upcoming Protest As Poor People’s Thinking
Popular controversial street singer, Habeeb Okikiola, best Known as Portable, has described the planned nationwide protest as poor thinking.
Recall that many Nigerians are agitated at the economic and political situation of the country, and to this effect, a nationwide protest with the theme #EndBadGovernance’ is planned for August 1 to August 10, 2024.
Portable, who has been condemning the planned protest, has further described the individuals planning it as poor.
Stressing further, the singer who joined the #EndSars protest in 2020 stated that it was because he was poor and now that he is financially comfortable, he won't be joining any strike.
Dissuading many from participating in the planned protest in a viral video, Portable said;
“They said that I joined the protest in 2020. It was then, poor thinking! Now that I have money, I am thinking like a wealthy person,”
“Have you ever seen Otedola and Dangote protesting? You won’t see people like Dele Momodu. Better mind your business! I didn’t have money back then. I’m now thinking like a rich man.”
