Nigerian comedian-turned-singer Lawal Michael, popularly known as Nasboi, has revealed his surprising encounter with a police officer.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Nasboi has been embarking on a kneeling tour across all the 36 States in Nigeria in order to get a verse from Afrobeats star, Davido.

The 'Umbrella' crooner made the surprising revelation on his X handle, stating that he was stopped by a police officer who requested for money, and in response the singer stated tbat he had no cash on him, while the police officer asked him to transfer it to his Sporty Bet account.

A surprised Nasboi wrote on X:
“The hell is wrong with Nigeria police? What?

“I no get cash to give you, you say make I transfer to your sporty."
