Singer, Korede Bello Drags Nigerian Police to the Media
Mavin records signee, Korede Bello, is not just out to make good music or get all the fame he deserves but he is also ready to use his position to make a positive impact in the society.
It would be recalled that on December 2nd, 2015, the singer was unveiled by the Nigerian Police as the Police Youth Ambassador, and that has made him map out good strategies through which he can help draw the Police closer to the people.
The singer out of his tight schedule was able to put up a programme recently which was tagged the ‘Police and The Media,’ which took place at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba.
According to the singer, the aim of the event was to help foster strong relationship between the media and the Police as the two bodies have always been on each other’s neck overtime.
In his words, “The aim of the forum is to help foster the relationship between the media and the law enforcement agencies. These forums alone can't solve the problems but it's a sure way to get the conversation going on progressive steps to be taken. It's a collective responsibility.”
The event drew the likes of the Commissioner of Police Lagos State; Fatai Owoseni who was represented by ACP Lanre Ogunlowo, as the event also had the likes of On-air-personality, Tosyn Bucknor, Labi Olayori, Chude Jideonwo and others.
