‎Popular movie producer, Stanley Ajemba, best known as Stanley Ontop, has accused popular gospel singer Mercy Chinwo of being behind the arrest of self-acclaimed activist, VeryDarkMan.

‎The Nigerian Voice reported on Friday, that popular human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, via his X handle, announced the arrest of VeryDarkMan by the police at GTB.

‎Deji Adeyanju further released a preliminary statement on Friday evening, which clarified that VeryDarkMan was in the custody of the EFCC in Abuja.

‎Taking to his Instagram page, the movie producer claimed that contrary to speculations, GTBANK is not responsible for VeryDarkMan's arrest at their premises.

‎He further alleged that Mercy Chinwo is behind the arrest of the controversial activist.

‎He wrote:
‎"GTBANK is not responsible for VDM arrest at their premises. Mercy Chinwo is responsible for the arrest of VDM.

‎
‎“Church is another government agency that uses our police, EFCC or military to intimidate citizens. Mercy Chinwo is the problem now not GTBank."
